THE CAR OF TOMORROW

To convert mobility and technology trends into clever products -
this is a challenge we are taking on gladly at Preh.

Among other things, it is important to design control systems in the cockpit for very intuitive operation in order to minimize driver distraction as much as possible. Keyword: active haptic feedback. Another major topic is e-mobility and the electric vehicle range, which can be optimised with effective battery management.

E-MOBILITY

Linked technologies, changed use behavior and above all growing environmental awareness demand smart,
quiet and environmentally friendly mobility solutions.

Paris, Shanghai or Berlin: E-mobility is a global key technology for the car of tomorrow. One factor of success will be found in in the development
of efficient battery systems. At Preh we contribute our know-how in this area, for example with control units for the battery management of electric and hybrid vehicles
as well as with 48V technology, which gains importance for additonal comfort functions and CO2 reduction.

ACTIVE HAPTIC FEEDBACK

Ordinary switches more and more give way to touch surface alternatives.

Preh works about combining highest driving saftey requirements with the user comfort of smart phones. For minimizing driver distraction we have developed a skalable actuator technology.

It is used to give touch screens an active haptic feeback feature which gives to the driver an audible and tactile feedback very similar to the push of an ordinary button.

FUNCTION SELECTION IN THE CONNECTED INTERIOR

The car of the future drives semi-autonomous and the car interior will develop into an entertainment environment which will make travel time as comfortable as possible.

Be it an individual retreat in midst the traffic or a rolling workplace - autonomous vehicles will provide much more comprehensive infotainment options. The result: The way of control and the display systems in the vehicle will undergo changes, e.g., by using seamless Human Machine Interface (HMI) solutions. This way, important information can be displayed on different screens in a similar way. Also, the driver can customize this information by creating his own user profile.
