Preh battery management concepts are already being installed in numerous electric vehicles - for example in the BMW i3, i8 and in ActiveHybrid models.

The Battery Control Unit contains a current sensor, which makes a precise prediction
about the remaining range of a battery-powered vehicle.
The sensor system designed in accordance with the ASIL C-Standard achieves a measuring accuracy of 0.35% even after ten years with an initial calibration of 0.1%. This means that the Preh sensor measures more precisely than previous systems by a factor of 4.
