The Touch Control Buttons we introduced are touch sensitive as they react precisely to horizontal and vertical movements of the thumb.
This way the driver can control all relevant vehicle functions with one switch and all functions from the central display
- like navigation and infotainment - with the other, while both hands stay on the steering wheel.
Preh creates new possibilities for seat adjustment in cars. The newly developed switches for shifting the seat backwards or forwards and to lean the backrest are completely static. The switches do not move and only respond to a given pressure, as more pressure means more movement. The new switches can also be used for steering wheels or rear mirrors.
