Our manufacturing processes are designed to ensure maximum process reliability and traceability. SMD components are stored in a monitored warehouse under optimal temperature and humidity conditions. End-to-end traceability systems ensure that every product and its components can be traced back completely.
Five modern SMD lines as well as manual and automated THT workstations are available for assembly. Depending on requirements, wave, selective, or lift-dip soldering processes are used. Coated assemblies are processed on fully automatic painting systems with integrated pre-cleaning, double-sided painting, AOI inspection, and convection drying. Dispensing processes and semi- and fully automatic milling machines are also available.

To ensure the highest manufacturing quality, we rely on a wide range of modern testing technologies in our EMS processes. After paste printing, a solder paste inspection (SPI) is performed to check the paste volume and position. The assembly is then checked using 2D and 3D AOI systems, and 2D and 3D AXI is also available for special SMD and THT components. This allows soldering and placement errors to be detected at an early stage. For THT assemblies, a THT AOI is used, supplemented by manual and inline in-circuit tests (ICT) for electrical function testing. In addition, we use inline flash programming and flying probe systems for flexible test strategies – especially for prototypes and small series. Finally, a paint AOI ensures that the protective coating is checked. This combination of optical and electrical testing methods ensures consistent process reliability and reproducible quality.

Our manufacturing processes are based on clearly defined quality standards and data-driven methods. We use Six Sigma to optimize process stability and error-free production based on statistical analyses. Through lean management methods such as CIP, shop floor management, SMED, and poka-yoke, we systematically eliminate waste, reduce setup times, and prevent process errors at the source. Right from the development phase, we provide support with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to optimally tailor products to our manufacturing processes and ensure reproducible series quality.
