Today, displays are central elements of modern vehicle concepts. They do far more than simply present information; they serve as the interface between the driver, the vehicle, and digital functions. Developing high-performance display solutions therefore requires a deep understanding of technology, integration, industrialization, and validation.
We support display projects across the entire value chain—from the selection and integration of suitable display technologies, through the development of system and mechanical concepts, to series production and comprehensive validation in the automotive environment.We have many years of experience with the relevant display technologies in the industry, particularly in the areas of TFT-LCD-based applications, center information displays, and integrated cockpit solutions.
A key component is our high level of vertical integration. Thanks to our in-house display assembly capabilities and expertise in optical bonding, backlight integration, and electronics and system integration, we can flexibly meet a wide range of customer requirements and tailor technical solutions optimally to each vehicle concept. This enables close integration of development, industrialization, and manufacturing, laying the foundation for the highest standards of quality and reliability.
In addition, we have extensive testing and evaluation capabilities. With state-of-the-art laboratories at multiple locations, we cover the key requirements of the automotive industry—from optical and electrical tests to environmental and climatic tests, as well as surface and long-term evaluations. This allows display systems to be comprehensively characterized and validated for later series production even in the early stages of development.
