COCKPIT CONTROL CENTERS

With central control systems in the interior, Preh´s extensive know-how is constantly pushing the limits of what is possible.

Whether small gap dimensions, exclusive surfaces, specific illumination, contoured touchpads or a special haptic – Preh transfers customer requests into product solutions with an intelligent, user-friendly functionality, anticipating current design trends.
These include, for example, considerations for reducing the need to gaze when operating touchscreens.

  • CENTER CONSOLE,
    CENTER STACKS CONTROL SYSTEM

    Center console concept

Preh has consistently taken a leading position in technology with its innovative automotive control systems (HMI) for the center console (center stacks). If functions are selected on the touch screen, the user receives visual and active haptic feedback.

Preh combines the digital world of displays with the haptic advantages of conventional, mechanical control elements - including over-the-air updates
    of new functionalities.

  • CENTRAL CONTROL SYSTEMS,
    TOUCHSCREEN IN THE ROTARY KNOB

    New touchscreen applications

reh explains how electronics and mechanics can be combined in a central automotive control system (HMI) in a small space. For this purpose, a touch screen was integrated in a rotary knob.

The extremely space-saving design makes it possible to accommodate the rotary knob in the vehicule's interior - in the door, steering wheel area or roof area.

  • CENTRAL CONTROL SYSTEMS, CONNECTIVITY,
    CENTER CONSOLE

    Multimodal control system

Preh Automotive surprises with a multimodal control system. It consists of a center console (center stacks) with integrated touchpad. This controls functions such as navigation, heating and air conditioning. The central display integrated in the vehicle shows the selected function.

The touchpad gives the operator appropriate haptic feedback when selecting functions. Additional integrated connectivity software allows passengers to operate various functions with a tablet or smartphone via an app. Central control commands, such as engine off or on, are reserved for the driver.
