By creating a separate Product Development division within the board of management, Preh is underscoring its commitment to technological leadership and is preparing itself for further growth in the international automotive electronics market. Last year the company achieved new record sales of €412 million. In 2012, the automotive supplier once again expects strong growth. To support this further growth, Preh is expanding the engineering departments at all of its locations in Germany, the U.S.A., Romania, and China.
This personnel change sends a clear signal to customers and employees that, even upon the arrival on the scene of Chinese majority shareholder Joyson in 2011, Preh will remain a German automotive supplier with increased international presence in Europe, North America and Asia in the future.
